About This Project

This project was born from a need to effectively score Hike & Fly races. Given the lack of affordable tracking instruments, Simone began exploring potential solutions. With Max's experience as an official FAI director and his extensive network, we shadowed several races to better understand the requirements. Now, in pursuit of our goal to democratize Hike & Fly and attract more pilots to the sport, the platform is ready for deployment and use.

Our Team

Simone Severini

Founder & Lead Developer

Born in Italy in 1977, Simone has always had a strong passion for mountains. With a background in climbing and ski mountaineering, he obtained his paragliding license in 2019. Currently based in Switzerland, he works as a co-founder of an AI-focused startup in Zurich.

Max Ghelfi

Technical Advisor

A paragliding enthusiast since 2008, Max is a qualified judge and race director. His technical background as a programmer and 3D modeler, combined with his passion for paragliding, brings unique perspectives to the sport's development.
